Branchera Villa Asuka

Branchera Villa Asuka has restored the exterior and layout of a farmhouse built more than 150 years ago and was registered as a national tangible cultural property in February 2022. While utilizing the original fittings and old materials, the villa offers the latest facilities for a comfortable stay, including an underfloor heating system, etc. Two independent guest rooms with different atmospheres, each with a courtyard and a large Shigaraki-ware bathtub, are available for guests to relax privately in the tranquil neighborhood of Asuka Village. The property is located on the national historic site of Asukadera Temple, Japan's first full-scale temple with a large temple complex, built approximately 1,400 years ago.

Yasaka
Yasaka has been fully renovated from a 250-year-old traditional Japanese house. It is in a rich natural environment surrounded by mountains in the Kayano-mori district. Guests can relax in the warmth of the old wooden folk house, while listening to the sound of the flowing river and the singing of birds. Activities such as barbecues, campfires, tent saunas, and cycling are also available, offering the guests a glamping-like experience during their stay. The friendly owner, born and raised in Asuka, is happy to answer any questions and provide advice and support for an enjoyable time in the village.
