About Us
About Us

Asuka Village is a small village with a population of about 5,000 people.

Small-scale farmers grow rice and a variety of vegetables in a beautiful, undulating natural landscape.

Most of the accommodations and restaurants are small, but they offer fresh cuisine made with locally nurtured vegetables and a relaxing stay in renovated old folk houses.

In recognition of its sustainable living and initiatives, our village was selected for the Best Tourism Village Upgrade Program by UNWTO in 2023.

Since we hope that people from around the world who are interested in archeology and sustainable living will visit our village and satisfy their inner peace and intellectual curiosity, we have started an archaeology tour project in 2023.
